I'm a spender but I'll buy cheap things and eventually my money will be gone. It's not like I spend it all at once.

Saver. Though having just moved to Japan, everything (and I mean everything apart from a few automatically paid bills) is cash and I don't keep my receipts so I have no idea how much I'm spending and it's sort of freaking me out. Generally I'd scour through my online statement and collate things in a spreadsheet. Only thing that got me through uni without going broke.

To speak for myself, I LOVE saving. I can cash out when it is appropriate and I am definitely not stingy, but I can live modestly right now to ensure my future goals that are 10, 15 or even more years ahead.

Anyone doing retirement saving already? I signed up for 401k cause my new job offers it (only paying in 1% right now). I am reading a lot of financial literature for someone in their 20s, but things are quite confusing

No. I like money and I hate seeing the balance go down, so I try to spend as little as possible. This doesn't necessarily mean I'm successful in doing so because I love shopping and buying stuff
