Prince Al-Walid bin Talal , is a member of the Saudi Royal Family, and an entrepreneur and international investor. As of 2007, his net worth is estimated at US$29.5 billion, according to the Arabian Business rich list published December 2, 2007.
- He owns some 300 cars, including a blue Rolls-Royce for his daughter. He also has 2 Black Rolls Royce Phantom.
- He has currently ordered a new yacht currently known as the New Kingdom 5KR which will be about 170m long and it costs approximately $500+ Million.
- He currently owns the following aircrafts:
* Airbus A380-841 (MSN002 To be delivered in 2010)
* Boeing 747-4J6
* Boeing 767-3P6/ER
* Airbus A340-213
* Raytheon Hawker 800A
* Boeing 727-95
* Challenger 601
- Airbus confirmed that Al-Walid, already owner of a Boeing 747 jet converted to private use, had ordered an Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger aircraft.
- Alwaleed and his two children had moved into a sand-colored palace whose 317 rooms are adorned with 1,500 tons of Italian marble, silk Oriental carpets, gold-plated faucets and 250 TV sets. It will have four kitchens, for Lebanese, Arabic, Continental and Asian cuisines, and a fifth just for dishing up desserts, run by chefs who can feed 2,000 people on an hour's notice. Their royal highnesses will be able to swim in a lagoon-shaped pool, or catch a film in the 45-seat basement cinema.
Al-Walid is heavily involved in charitable activities across the Middle East, Asia and Africa, and is estimated to donate more than $100 million annually to charity[citation needed]. Much of this expenditure is in the field of educational initiatives to bridge gaps between Western and Islamic communities by funding centers of American studies and research in universities in the Middle East and centers of Islamic studies in American universities.
In 2001, he offered New York City a donation of $10 million towards relief efforts after the September 11, 2001 attacks. This was rejected by Mayor Rudy Giuliani because Al-Walid suggested that the attacks were an indication that the United States "should re-examine its policies in the Middle East and adopt a more balanced stand toward the Palestinian cause."
The mentality of people like him is not "whether he will drive them or not". It's all about getting whatever he wants, whenever he wants. He doesn't have to sell his old cars to get new ones like poor people do. LMAO.

He looks like a child molester. :-/ Good luck.
yeah but owning 300 cars is a little bit rediculous, I bet half of them are just sitting there unused, he should pull an Oprah give some of those cars away, to the people who can even afford getting a car.
this dude may be filthy rich, but you should not envy this dude for what he has, you should be greatful for what you have there are many people out there, that are living in motels, living in the streets, or living in there own car, basically living much worse that you do, I mean your on ATRL, they are many people out there that don't even have a computer to be on ATRL,Facebook,Myspace,Youtube, or any other popular site
I'm taking French, and I got bits of pieces of that video. For one thing, the guy said his palace has 317 rooms
I've actually seen pictures of this house somewhere before, probably on Forbes or something.
And I simply can't imagine throwing around money like that. I know, he has billions of dollars, but it's still ridiculous to spend half a billion on a yacht. Simply unnecessary. I think it's impressive that my uncle spent $350K on a sailboat.
Edit: I just realized how stupid I sounded by saying "Simply unnecessary." EVERYTHING this guy has is unnecessary. I'm a major car geek, but I don't think I would even want 300 cars because I want an amount where I would still be able to drive them all (10-15, LOL).

Ouch! I'm such a poor guy
I think that's what normal people do. They sell their old cars to replace a new one. His 300 cars are all new I guess.
Good for him, but I mostly don't like his household-interior style (is he running some sort of demented museum???...yet the movie theater was way cool...). . . what a waste of money all that is.
