I love this song. The idea of being jealous of the fact that your partner is allowed to go out, party, have fun, and possibly even cheat is interesting. She's almost saying I wish I had the audacity and courage to be as much as an asshole as you are. This song is actually a lot about gender roles/politics. The man can do as he pleases but the woman must stay at home and "cook this meal for you naked" and wait till whatever time you get home.

And the fact that the song and video are so connected to Partition. Partition is not even real actually, it's a fantasy, the video begins with her trying to get Jay's attention. This album is so cohesive...
