I think equality for all should be equality for ALL and not just gays, trans* people are so underrepresented and so looked over when it comes to their rights. That is a battle we will have to fight also. Not standing with trans* people is just as bad as not standing with your fellow gay people. Smh at some of y'all forgetting them.

I 100% agree. No shade to who made it, but the thread comparing the gay community to the black community... They clearly don't understand the fact that as a white guy in a developed nation, they already have it better than the majority of the world. It's just ignorance.

First of all, this isn't an LGBT rights forum. Nobody cares about this thread or what you're saying. It's gonna get closed and then we're gonna move onto going "yassss! queeeen!" next time Gaga farts or something. This amounts to little more than flamebait.

Second, you took a major left turn when you started caring about internet opinions. If we're really a bunch of "white power bottom twinks" (which is totally hypocritical of you to call us if you really care so much about gay rights) then you should have no problem laughing at us and logging out. However since you seem rather upset, I'm guessing you actually care quite a bit about what ATRL says. That's a problem. Either stop taking the internet seriously or stop using it.

Finally: facts of life time! Billions of people disagree with you. Coming onto a pop music forum and bitching about ambiguous ideas, talking to nobody in particular, does you no good. You're not going to change anyone's mind here. You're not going to make anyone like trans people or believe in bisexuality. You need to back out of the thread, sit down and imagine the billions of people with horribly ignorant views... and then come to peace with it.

It is though. It's just for other things too. As long as you fall under the LGBT, you have a right to believe that your rights should be equal.

I can't speak for the gays that only concentrate on the G in LGBT, I think that that's pretty disgusting tbh, but they are still part of LGBT and still deserve equal rights.

A lot of the time I do just laugh or ignore it. But I decided to finally make a thread about it because some people are really ignorant. It's not a huge deal to me, I'm still able to sleep at night, I don't obsess over it, I just find it a bit annoying and rude. I think you missed the point. I was showing what it's like to be discriminated against despite the fact that the LGBT COMMUNITY is supposed to support one another. I deliberately said something that I knew would rile people up and maybe give them a sense of what it's like for the people they discriminate against.

This is a forum to discuss opinions and ideas, I'll make whatever type of threads I want. If you don't like it, don't comment. If the mods don't like it, it'll get closed. Fair enough.

But the reality is no community truly does support each other, so that's no different from the LGBT "community" (I don't even know why it's a community tbh, it's just a bunch of random people who don't identify as straight, to lump them all together seems odd to me).
