So what? Well European countries are completely different to how they were hundreds of years ago. My only point is the US (government not individuals/citizens) don't have a leg to stand on when complaining about another country invading a non-related (to the US) country when they initiate invasion of many countries, in current and relatively recent times. If the US had done this hundreds of years ago I wouldn't hold it against them and wouldn't have used it to point out the hypocrisy.

and I'm not saying the UK hasn't also invaded but I don't see complaining from them about this situation.

Yes you are perfectly entitled to do that. However I only used recent/current events to call out the hypocrisy that is happening right now. I don't have a personal issue with the US, just an opinion on it.

Or maybe if this war does happen, some of the Western countries can come in,slice the country up and keep it organized Post WW2 Germany style and then put more democratic people in power once the country is ready to run itself again. I'm not an expert in politics but that's just what i think.

I can't at some people saying, "let them have Ukraine". These are people, this is their country, they are a culture and a history, do they not deserve to exist? Imagine this was your country. I don't know if this would be beneficial. It didn't work well with Germany, and it definitely didn't work with Korea. I think all the old people in power need to step down (or die ), and let the newer generation take power. It's clear to everyone that the newer generation has a plan for the future -- ally themselves with the EU, and reap the benefits. It worked for the UK, it worked (for the most part) for Ireland, it worked for Lithuania, etc. Whereas these old uglies want to stay with Russia and not improve conditions in their country. It's sad
