Rihanna is currently a lot more successful in pretty much every aspect. But, Christina is a pop veteran, she has solidified her place in the music industry and is considered as one of the best vocalists of all times. Honestly, a GOOD record and some decent promotion is all she needs to get back on top.

Hmm, Rihanna has been (undeniably) more successful and will end up bigger commercially wise, she kind of already is bigger. Christina has had more impact than Rihanna will ever have though, she's always referenced by up-coming singers and amateurs all around the world thanks to her voice. Commercially wise Rihanna is bigger, don't waste your time arguing.

at you all believing that Britney/Mariah/Beyoncé stan actually stans for Xtina. So naive.

I'm pretty sure Xtina's album sales trample Rihanna's and she still has a lot of big hits these days, feature artist or not. Xtina was bigger than Rihanna ever was with her first couple of albums.

You should know sales are in the PITS now, and Rihanna has never been a huge album seller. Her last solo U.S. #1 was in 2012, Christina Aguilera's? 2000.

Highly debateable. I would say 'Umbrella', 'We Found Love' and 'LTWYL' are equally if not even bigger hits.

On topic, definitely Rihanna. I don't stan for her but her impact is undeniable and her sales and chart success simply extraordinary. Xtina has faded since 2006 but I do still like her.

Christina is bigger commercially and impact-wise. Rihanna will pass her commercially either with her next release and set of hit collaborations or the release after with another set of hit collaborations. At this point, I can't see Rihanna having any impact with her career so I think Christina will still hold that over her, though that could also change.
