Anyways, I guess it's wrong, I just don't think anyone would be stupid enough to do this. It's not like we're scoring our fave's #1s and multi platinum sellers anymore.

To be fair, there were quite a few "empowerment anthems" in Gaga/The Monster Ball's wake. Their singers were all "this one is totes for my gay fans!" even though the songs themselves were very generic so as to not offend conservative listeners. I think that's a bit gross--don't say you're putting out a song for your gay fans if that's clearly not the truth.
