Back in 2010, he sorta flip flopped between liking Her and disliking Her. After Her less than stellar performance at the 2010 Grammys, he wrote that "She ruined Her entire career" that night. Her next two albums subsequently opened with over 1 million copies sold, so he was clearly dead on with that prediction.

Note that there's no confirmation that "Mean" is about him. He's only vain enough to claim that it is, and he's not the only one. Country music blogger Triggerman at Saving Country Music also claims to have inspired "Mean." When I personally listen to the song, bits and pieces of it make me think of Perez Hilton. It's entirely possible that "Mean" was inspired by a combination of these- and other- people.

Lefsetz is always a hit or miss but I like him who can be sometimes so on point like from his yesterday blog?

He's right, of course. Everyone learns to love Taylor Swift with time.

All of her albums are godly, so we can't make much of these statements.

Lefsetz realising his claim that Taylor had 'destroyed her career but was too naive to realise it' in the 2010 Grammy's has gone down as one of the worst predictions in music history. Having her 2 subsequent albums go on to be in the Top 5 selling albums of the decade and winning subsequent Grammy's, CMAs, Golden Globe nominations and earnings in excess of $100 million since then obviously prove her career was hardly 'destroyed'. The only thing destroyed was Lefsetz' credibility and reputation. He will be remembered in history as that critic that Taylor was inspired to write a song about that won 2 Grammy's for her. Meanwhile Taylor is still the biggest selling American artist 4 years later and now hanging out with Meryl Streep and Bono.
