edit: since someone reported me, I want to clarify I'm not trolling and I do love ATRL. I hope this thread can stay open because I think it's a discussion that needs to happen for the better of the site, but I understand if the staff feels it needs to be closed.
When the pop girls we talk about on this site (Xtina, Gaga, Britney & Bey especially) have/continue to make music way more explicit than anything we're allowed to talk about on ATRL?
why does a thread about wiping our asses get closed when this website spends most of its time talking about ARTPOP and BEYONCE, 2 albums that thoroughly describe sexual encounters? isn't there a problem when if I posted some of the things those albums said before they were lyrics, I would be warned? but suddenly bc a pop girl said it, it's ok?
Isn't this an example of how ATRL is way too strict? Isn't this proof that we're fine talking about adult subjects, considering we stan for girls who have eras like "Stripped" and songs like "Blow?"
Idk about talking about adult subjects but the lyric thing is just ridiculous. You're not supposed censor words in songs when you hand write or type them- Your diminishing the artist's song. It's the same thing as covering part of a painting in a museum; you wouldn't do it
It's for the ratings. They keep our language clean because they want more people to be able to come here and not feel uncomfortable with a bunch of horny bottoms being explicit.
