Ok but is calling someone ignorant an insult then?
Like I mean if someone says for instance that there's no such thing as "racism" because Beyonce and Rihanna are big pop stars (an ignorant statement), is that an insult to call them ignorant?
No. Making an ignorant remark is just that, it's ignorant.
And let's not make every little thing said on here a warn-able offense. If you can't handle being called "ignorant" then either don't say anything ignorant or just don't post here.

I think it is, it's never used in a positive way. It's always used with a negative connotation.
If they were offended by getting called ignorant then I would consider it an insult, especially if said person wasn't aware of his/her ignorance.
Someone can consider being called a racist an insult.
If you say racist ****, the person calling you out on it is not the one at fault, rather they are making an observation based on actions that you have performed.
Calling someone ignorant can be seen as insulting, but if what they said was "misinformed" and they are unbeknownst to what they are saying is truly incorrect, then calling them ignorant is not an insult but rather an assumption or observation, per se.
Yes. It's alright to perpetuate casual racism, sexism, homophobia and general foolishness and delusion, but if you try to clock anyone for any of those things, you're out of line.
