It's not really a "why would they make her pay if she didn't have the money" sorta thing.

The victim she assaulted has permanent facial scarring + a neurological disability because of her. She was a cheerleader, which obviously requires good looks. Da Brat ruined her livelihood by disfiguring her face. It'd be like if you were a construction worker and somebody came over and cut your hands off. Means you can't do your job anymore.

I don't know the extent of the disability but if it's caused her to be unable to work then there's more coins. Or if she needs special care then there's even more coins. Plus all the medical bills.

It all adds up.

We all know she doesn't have that type of money anymore.
