He has a signature style that is very of the moment and it works most of the time but not much of what he does is talent as much as it is who is in the photo.

Can you explain why he's one the best though? He's really easily replicated and has pretty much only one style to his name.

I don't see anything revolutionary in his work, nor does it really say anything and he doesn't seem to be able to create special moments, its just that his style is so spotlight heavy that everything looks very graphic and hip. If he wasn't working with celebrities would anyone care about his work? His **** stuff is interesting but again not enough in my books to propel him to "one of the best" status.

Of course. His style is simple but anyone who tries to replicate it fails. You can tell a photo is done by Terry just by looking at it. People discredit him because of his ethics.

This is how I see his work tbh. The only thing special is the fact that his subjects are celebrities.

Uh, it's definitely a talent. Place a camera in the hands of someone who has no sense of composition, lighting, framing, and lacks the ability to see things differently than others and you'll end up with ****.


Anyway, Terry isn't doing anything special.... I wonder why celebrities flock to him.
