I'll wait for some angry extreme feminist to reply to this saying they shouldn't have to because men are better built for war or something.
Sorry but its mostly men who tell women that they can't do that. This is literally the least of womens' problem so that's why it never comes up. Plus its not like most of the men who enlist are gonna be drafted into a war anytime soon. (In the U.S atleast)
I thought I wouldn't have to because I'm a dual citizen but
Uncle Sam made sure to clock me on my 18th birthday.
But I'm sure a draft won't happen again unless it's an
extreme emergency. But I'd have already fled the country
to safety by then.
My mom actually opened my letter to enlist because I was in school, and English isn't her first language so she thought the letter was actually drafting me to war...
She cried all afternoon and she called my dad and they planned out how they were going to tell me
