I usually don't edit it at all, I just throw it out there. Hence why I have the time to have 26k posts.

I'll preview my post before posting a .gif, just to make sure the image link is posted correctly. Having [img]insertlink.com/12345/img] - for example - looks atrocious.

Rarely do I edit. Only if there is a glaring spelling or punctuation error.
