50 Cent and his G-Unit record label have gone independent after 12 years under the umbrella of Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records.
They have signed an exclusive worldwide distribution and services agreement with Caroline, Capital and UMG and the first album released via the arrangement will be Animal Ambition in June.
