5,000 is not Gold in Korea There is no such thing as Gold in Korea. And the top albums sell over 300k+ there, so that would mean a successful album there is 30x Diamond
If Gold is 5000, then a '300k+' album would be 3x Diamond.
gold is 5k here. they don't have those award for local artist but they do make those plaque for international artists. it's legit and official (check IFPI or korea articles)
sad thing is pop music market is dead here.
GP don't really care pop music unless it's sung by korean in talent show.
there're huge difference from local music sales to international music sales.
avg 3~5k is popular albums number. so 5k is fine.
she's not popular among GP but still have big followers.
