Something VERY interesting in this week's Entertainment Weekly magazine: a short atricle called "Summer Music Heats Up"...and one of the songs described is:

Mariah Carey- "Migrate"

What's summer without Mimi in the mix? This club-thumping jam from the just-married diva could rise to the top before Labor Day.

Note: the 3 other songs which this article describes are all already confirmed singles...Coldplay's "Violet Hill", Maroon 5's IINSYFA, and Fergie's "Labels Or Love"

This should definitely be her 3rd single, followed by Last Kiss, and then Side Effects.

Last Kiss should never, ever be a single. That would be a disaster of Boy I Need you proportions. The singles if she's smart would be (in no particular order) Migrate, Cruise Control, Side Effects, and For The Record.

Side Effects and I Stay In Love should be after Migrate.

And Nick, Last Kiss wouldn't be that bad of a single, I think it'd do really well actually. But that might also be because I love it. For some reason it reminds me of Don't Forget About Us.

I dunno but Side Effects, Migrate and I Stay In Love MUST BE singles.

Love Story is one of the weakest songs on the album. I can't believe they even considered releasing it for a single.

Migrate is her only chance to get a worldwide hit.

I think the general consensus indicates that "Migrate", "Side Effects", and "I Stay In Love" are the best choices. I hope there's room for "That Chick".

I prefer "For the Record" over "I Stay In Love" though. I really wish she hadn't made "Bye Bye" a single, what a waste.
