I hate it so ****ing much. I don't get it, don't see why I have to learn some of the harder things (when I will NEVER use them in my life) and my teachers have always been the dumbest people ever who can't explain anything.
I hate it with a passion, I truly do.
The most annoying thing about it is that you wont even use most of the stuff in real life.
And for the things you will use their are tools for on the internet that give you the formula or just calculate it on its own.
It depends on the setting. Most math classes are terrible unless you have a really good teacher. I absolutely hated math last year, and I was only getting High B's in it. But this year I am better at it, even though my class sucks. Next year I'll be a sophomore in HS, and I decided to take as many math classes as I could before I graduate.
Next year I'm taking: Trig Honors & STEM Honors
Junior year I'm taking: Pre-Calc Honors & Physics Honors (I know its a science class, but there's tons of math in it, so I counted it)
Senior year I'm taking: AP Calculus
The biggest problem with math in public schools is the teachers. Nobody wants to teach anymore, because they can make better money elsewhere. So they're now lacking in decent math teachers
