My roommate from freshman year was random, but after a few weeks of small talk, we really hit it off and now he's one of my closest friends. We actually share a lot of mutual friends.
Sophomore year, my roommates were very diverse as far as nationality and race goes. Three of us got along really well, and would go out drinking, play video games and just chill. The 3rd roommate who I shared a bathroom with, his hair would shed and be all over the bathtub and toilet seat. I finally had to tell him to clean that **** up because I wasn't doing it anymore.
Junior year I moved in with a friend. Long story short, that didn't work out.
Senior year, my roommate asked if a friend who was getting back on his feet could stay for 2 weeks. He ended up staying pretty much the entire year.
In all, I love my roommate stories and experiences, and hopefully you will too.
Another was insanely passive-aggressive and left really rude post-its over something as simple as having my toothbrush in the bathroom. He legitimately could have had OCD, but then he shouldn't have been living in a residence when his family home was less than ten minutes away
