If any other Pop Girl dragged an era that long with that much single success the album sales would've been higher, or the same at the very least.

Sorry to bump such an old post, but pop girls could only DREAM of having an era as long as Teenage Dream. The public was not sick of her or the album
three years later. In fact, they still aren't, as it's still charting on the Billboard Top 200.
The fact is, it sold well in the long run. A fact is a fact.
