Not only this, but when she performs in Russia, one of the major financial profiteers is the Russian government itself and official Russian institutions. It would bring a lot of tax money to Russia for all the tickets sold, and maybe guests from abroad who'd have come to see the show there.
It's sad for the fans ofc, but simply not doing shows there is by far the single best thing artists can do to MAYBE make the Russian government regret their decisions a bit.
