The Undertaker’s unannounced appearance came as Lesnar and his advocate, Paul Heyman — given the opportunity by The Authority to name Lesnar’s WrestleMania opponent — were prepared to turn down HHH and Steph's offer.

To Brock Lesnar and Heyman’s surprise, WWE's Deadman emerged. Seemingly changing his mind on the spot, Lesnar made no hesitation to sign the open contract before shoving a pen into Undertaker's chest. The Deadman took umbrage at The Beast's gesture, slamming the pen down into Lesnar's hand before chokeslamming him through a table in the middle of the ring. As The Undertaker gazed at the WrestleMania 30 sign that looms over the squared circle, the WWE Universe buzzed as the battle between the two juggernauts became official for WrestleMania 30 on April 6.

Even though Lesnar/Taker is going to be so much fun, I'm finding it hard to get too excited about the rest of Mania in its current state, particularly because of Orton/Batista being for the title. It's a giant stain on such a massive PPV. It would have trouble main eventing PAYBACK, let alone WM 30. I'd much rather they had put the belt on, say, Cena, so that Cena/Wyatt has more at stake, or even Trips, so it means even more when Bryan beats him.

I also believe that Orton/Batista will not be the last match. Taker/Lesnar or Bryan/HHH will go on last. Anything else and they're asking for trouble.

Honestly I'm so tired of WWE relying on old stars, and burying new stars in the making (Dolph Ziggler being the best example)

Honestly, I'm guessing the "new stars in the making" are struggling in terms of truly breaking out, thus the reliance on old stars.

I mean, I was last really into wrestling in 1999, and the marquee names then were people like Undertaker and The Rock (who I hear has been around sporadically recently).

It's like the opposite of music divas, where 40+ year olds are majorly ignored.

The people the fans actually like (Ziggler, Zack Ryder before the Eve angle, Cody, Bryan, Roman Reigns etc) are always being buried or put down for returning stars. Ziggler jobbed to Cena (what else is new?), Zack fell off after Kane's return. Cody is stuck being in a tag team with Goldust. Roman Reigns was about to have his breakout moment at the Rumble, but Batista returned and took that spot. Even Daniel Bryan was being put down for a while, but I think Vince realised that he can't control the "Yes Movement".

The Rock returned for two Wrestlemania's, he's not been on for a while though.

Fine with Hogan returning as long as it is not for a match. Maybe he'll just induct The Ultimate Warrior.

SMFH @ them expecting me to believe that Taker can take Brock Lesnar and win(because you know Vince isnt gonna let go of that winning streak seeing how uninterested people are in Wrestlemania, its pretty much the only thing left)
