Might be different in Quebec though, according to what I've heard, you still use Napoleonic law and your province has a special hatred for firearms.

I'm really surprised this happened in Texas though. I would be less shocked if I got turned away from voting for not wearing a pro-gun t-shirt.

I'm not sure what points you're trying to make. Even if these guns are unregistered, there are still penalties for having them if caught.

You may criticize Canada's policy towards firearms, but we don't have countless school shootings every few weeks. We must be doing something right.
