Yup it's true. She just doesn't have "IT" to make it in the music industry. Sure she has a good voice & a lot of the songs are hot, but a lot more people would have downloaded the album either way.

It's not true because it's not fact. Nobody knows how it would've done with big promotion. Her last album did moderately well for an album with no hit single or promotion. To you she may not have IT. But to others, she does.

^She was on one of the biggest shows on Disney at the time. She had promo. They would have sent a song for ads and done promo for her if her album would have sold well the first week. Her album should have gone a lot of higher than the 50's on her name alone. She comes across more as an actress than a singer to me. An actress that has a good voice...but known for her acting primarily. When most people think of Raven (outside of her fans) they usually think of "actress" not "singer". She can make it long term in the music industry if she gets on a label that doesn't care about sales and she is doing the album because she wants too not because she wants to get huge sales. There is nothing wrong with that.

It's MIND-BLOWING how naive you can be about sales & what you think she could sell. Sorry.

There's just no excuse for the lack of sales with her first album & with this one, it's almost embarrassing to admit she released another album. If she were to sign with another record label & release an album, she may have a moderately successful single, but she'll never be a big sales earner. As an actress she has a chance at staying moderately successful in comedy films.
