TLDR Version at the bottom

I recently took a survey for a company called UsaTalkNow(located here) that asks lots of questions about various topics. However, this survey was a little bit different. Please note this survey is invite only, so I can not just send you a link to view it.

The first question asked me what artists I thought of when I though of Rock Music, and the second questions asked what artists I thought of when I thought of Alternative Music. Then the following questions asked me what my impressions were on Taylor Swift and U2. Finally, I was asked the below questions(Open images in new tab if they cut out in parts.) These questions definitely hint at a new direction, by putting Taylor Swift in the same category as major Rock singers.






Tldr: I took a survey that asked my opinion on Rock/Alternative artists, then asked me how I viewed Taylor Swift, and then how I viewed certain rock artists(the last picture.) Thus hinting that she might be heading in that direction.

Also if you go to wikipedias page for 2014 albums Taylor's LP5 has this as the genre

Praying this doesn't happen.... It would not work for her AT ALL.

I was hoping for more POP songs. But I guess I'll have to hear it first before I give my verdict. Can't waittttt

An album with a sound similar to State of Grace would be fascinating. I still think that's Taylor's jewel. I'm excited for this if it's true.

State of Grace is one of her best.

I'd like to see her do an album with more songs like State of Grace and less of the Max Martin generic pop songs, but I wonder if many of the people that listen to alt-rock music are going to line up to buy Taylor Swift.

Which probably means we end up with more like WANEGBT and 22 instead.
