Who deserves the title of being the TRUE Queen of Final Fantasy? The representative of iconicism, fashion, power, and sales? These two women are princesses in every possible way but only one can be the true icon and Queen. Yuna has had better sales (her two games alone have made more than the entire XIII saga) but Lightning was arguably the first mainline female lead. Both have had their defining moments of icon. But the question remains - who is the real queen of modern Final Fantasy?
OP I think you should have added more options. There are so many iconic female characters in the series.
I don't know if I have a favorite I like each lady for various reasons.

It was supposed to be the modern queen.
Because the overall queen is still Terra but I'm talking about the modern icon - the true queen. I almost put Queen Ashe but she is already a queen and none of you all would appreciate her.
I was done with Lulu the minute she spread her legs to that trash Wakka
And Tifa can't even get the man of her own franchise even though the competition is dead talk about a flop bitch.

Paine and Rikku are both ***flawless as well but not quite close to being Queens. If Rikku got her X-3 game like originally planned.. well.. maybe. Rikku is still my favorite game from anything X related.
