I always choose Battle Points instead of Pokemiles. Am i doing something wrong?

Almost all the stuff can be bought from Pokemarts. There are a few useful things like Heart Scales and Max Revives. I always chose BP tho.
EDIT: You can also use it to play Balloon Popping on Global Link. Which is super useful to get evo stones and items.
