Have you been to Coquitlam?
It's one of the BEST cities on the West Coast (and I mean
the entire West Coast
, at least as far as Santiago).
They have a big city to adventure.
Sometimes there bears.
There is a gun range.
They have the pedestrian overpasses.
There are outdoors.

As someone who lives very close by and has been to Coquitlam literally hundreds of times, I can attest to the fact that it is absolutely lovely.
Coquitlam and Mission are probably my two favorite BC cities.
This thread is so random though
