So, I checked, and there was a thread about this in 2012, which has obviously expired.
Procrastination! I hate it so much, and was wondering: what are your craziest experiences involving procrastination? What do you do to procrastinate? What bad or good things has procrastinating caused you? Were you able to quit it?
i had a whole week off for mid-winter break and i just started all of my homeworks like 4 hours ago, and it's almost midnight now don't wanna go to school tomorrow
My worst experience was I procrastinated on a minimum 80 page paper that I got at the beginning of the semester until four days before it was due. It ended up being 87 pages and got an A on it.
Hmm I procrastinate a lot... and tbh I find it to be my motivation to get things done a bit
Good things that it cause is possibly good grades on a paper
Bad things is you end up staying up late and looking tired in the morning or there could be a few details missing on your paper/report.
i literally always do my assignments on the last day (you get 4 weeks to do them) - stay up till 4am in the morning and type out like 8+ pages , when the assignments only need 4 pages or less to pass > i have done that 3 times, its so messy.
I can be so bad. I'll have like 20 things I need to do but I'll just decide to sit on my bed and literally do nothing. I won't even be on the computer or sleep or anything, I'll just lay there and look at the ceiling.
I tend to work better under pressure though so procrastinating has never really killed me, but I probably have a much more active life-style if I didn't constantly put everything off.
I've done crazier things but the one that really sticks in my mind is the time I stared at my wall in silence for about 10 minutes before actually studying for my finals.
