Yep! My last boyfriend I met on Grindr. Our first encounter was a casual hookup. Over time we started hanging out more and more, eventually found out we had very common nichey interests, and really gained a connection over time! We're just friends now, but you can definitely find a true connection or romance through these sites, even if it's not the first intent.

Plentyoffish is a joke as well. It can happen just really really depends.
