Probably. 5th book was very slow paced which is why it took me forever. I think the 3rd book was the best but I can't remember. I am perched for the 6th book though

I love Katy but I'm bored.

Adele is still giving me life with Chasing pavements and the 21 album
I'm still mad I'll be waiting wasn't the 5th single followed up with Turning tables to close.

In any event, what's the info on her new album. I'm ready for her to smash with more less breakup songs and more happy/love songs as a contrast to 21. I hope it gets released in June.

While it's hard to duplicate 21 success I hope the album can at least go 7x platinum and solidify her as the album artist of the decade since i think Queen Katy or Rihanna might take the single artist of the decade record.

There are no doubts that Adele will be the album artist of the decade, both in the US and WW. It all really depends on the lead single as to how well the album does. If it's good (I can't see it not being) and the GP connect with it then I can see it doing at least half of 21's sales. If it doesn't connect that well with the GP then ofc. there will be initial buzz and huge sales but nothing for longevity that SLY, SFFTR and (to an extent) RITD did for 21.

A grammy win, or two, or more, will help solidify phenomenal sales.

We don't know a lot about the album right now. Dan Wooton, yesterday, said that Adele is set to go and ready to surprise the industry and that her album is due out immanently (meaning sooner than expected). Plus coincidentally her site has been down for the past couple days, making us think that it might be getting updated for the new era.

After that, the only confirmation we have is that she's worked with Ryan Tedder, Dianne Warren, and Phil Collins. Everyone else has been expected to remain quiet about it since Ryan Tedder hinted that her team got mad at him for revealing that she was working on a new album (probably because they want to avoid over-hype). And Ryan Tedder has said the new album sounds very Adele-ish, meaning she's sticking to her trademark sound.

We're likely getting a happier album though. I can't imagine another sad album when she's been in a relationship for almost 3 years now and has a son.

And I mentioned Celine in that other thread earlier, but it got me thinking that Adele could very well pull a Celina with the next album and have another blockbuster album in a row. It's not likely but it's possible.

Adele's selling point is her voice, like it was for Celine, and she could very well get close to the same amount of people who bought 21, to buy her new album as well.

Plus like I also said, it's not like the industry has shifted since 21. Her influence is still heavily on radio and in the industry all around.
