I wouldn't say they are racist but they are OBSESSED about race.
Like the movie industry is overhyping Lupita to the gods. I mean she is beautiful but her acting isn't as great as they say it is. But because she is black she is making headlines. She's from a rich family who lived in Brazil yet they think her race makes her life a struggle.
Queen Kerry Washington however is slaying on Scandal which doesn't make it all about her race.
