Sure, it looks bad that Madonna is basically endorsing this, but it is not like the tickets were going to go for face value if she didn't endorse this.

She's not only endorsing it, she's using it for her own financial gain. She has no problem with the fact that it goes on AS LONG AS she's making some of that money.
Another unnamed artist has found a pretty good way around this. People who have consistently belonged to the fan club for over a year, aka real fans, are the first ones to be able to buy tickets (this rules out people buying fan club memberships to buy tickets to scalp unless they plan way ahead). Then come the newer fan club members, and finally the general public. There is also a limit on ticket purchases per fan club membership. This way, and I can vouch for this, the really good seats go for the original price to people who deserve them. At the concert when I was in front row, the people around me that I spoke with said they got their tickets through the fan club and not ebay or stubhub. I paid 120 dollars for a front row ticket because of proper selling techniques. Madonna would have let me pay 2000 and she would have taken a cut.
