Yes, the American people are getting tired of liberal spending policies. Look what happened to Detroit
but a a full-fledged revolution won't happen
major protests occurring across the nation seems more likely
No offense but contemporary Americans caring enough about anything to revolt?
This is what I thought too. But I think conditions could actually get bad enough . As long as you still have your guns right? The mind control can't be that strong
Revolutions don't occur because of ideas, the average joe being far too oblivious to those (the 21th century one just like the 18th century one). A revolution will only occur if a large amount of people are in such poverty that they simultaneously feel that rising up and potentially losing the little they have left in the process is worth it even for an insecure future.
Realistically, with the decline of the West, we will see more and more people falling into relative poverty in developed countries. Whether that will be enough for a revolution, I'm not sure.
I don't see one happening soon; maybe in the next 50-75 years. I agree that we aren't heading upwards compared to other developed countries so it could happen.
A US revolution? Not happening anytime soon at all, that's for sure. To suggest a revolution in like a decade you overestimate the people's anger state of things, and really how bad things even are, IMO.
The good thing about America is that wealthy people have donated their fortunes after their deaths. Warren Buffett promised to donate about 90% of his fortune when he dies. That helps the economy a lot.
