Radar, "Toxic-like"? . Can't believe you just said that.
And it has nothing to do with Black, or whatever. Madonna was very sucessful on 106 & Park + Pop radio barley plays Britney, soo how does race have something to do with it?

Yes, it is. "Toxic" was futuristic type pop, produced by the same guys Bloodshy & Avant. Its very reminiscent of the song.
And it has very much to do with race. Madonna had Justin and Timbaland on her song. 99% sure that if they weren't featured nor produced that song, BET wouldn't have done anything. Didn't see them playing/supporting her any other time but now.
Pop radio plays Britney, they just don't ***** her. She has the most top 40 singles for a female artist, its just if they *****d her like they do Urban artists she'd have more top hits instead top 5/top 10/top 20/top 40, with occasional #1s.
Don't act stupid/silly, you know what I mean.

^Britney is FLOP at Pop radio now
Her highest peak this era was 17 , that's sad. She needs TS to re-up her radio sucess!

"Radar" is good but gets old fast. You really can't predict how good a single will perform nowadays. A song with the hottest beat (FEEDBACK) could flop miserably and a mediocre lazy song (LOVE IN THIS CLUB) could become a hit. It's unpredictable. But at least you can say that Radar has nothing on Toy Soldier. Beat/Attitude wise. That's what the public/radio want from Britney at teh moment. Not just a little cute love song.

Yeah, THIS era. Of course she wouldn't get big hits with how people looked at her and no formal promotion. They totally screwed releasing this album at the time and did no payola as usual. I'd take her peaks now than some have gotten doing everything to get a hit. No names.
And yeah, glad you hushed up about Madonna.

Toy Soldier
Freakshow / Get Naked should be the next single.

Hmmm? I think i know who you are talking about.
Why are you acting like Britney has gotten amazing airplay and great chart peaks anyway? The only big diffrence between BLACKOUT's sucess and her past albums were the past albums sold huge.
Brit has never been a major sucess story in the single peaks department.

She's had pretty good success with pop radio excluding the Britney and Blackout era, Baby, Oops, Toxic all went #1 on pop radio, Everytime, Crazy, some others went Top 10 on pop radio, not every single she released turned out big, but she always had some big success...her only problem is peaks on the Hot 100, shes only had 5 Top 10 hits i believe.

WHEN have I said that she has had amazing airplay? Lets not go putting things in people's mouths just to have something to start an argument about.
I was only noting that though she hasn't had back to back hits, she still holds the record for most singles on top 40 radio and how she has had a lot of moderate hits, with a good # of very successful ones. Do you need the list of peaks and weeks again? No she hasn't done amazing, but she hasn't "flopped" like you are over-dramatically claiming.
And no she hasn't had major success in the single peaks, but I'm partially happy of that because her albums have always done good and though RADIO (again not the public) don't ***** her songs, everyone knows her songs. Besides if digital downloads were always included in the Hot 100, she'd have much higher singles, but they weren't. They had just started counting when "Do Somethin" came out.

Which both had good reasons for flopping. "Britney" era had the ClearChannel controversy, then "Blackout" era we know has to do with how she acted in 2007 and so that made radio not want to play her. She's not budging, she WANTS to prove Britney's a flop, lol.

Yeah, it would help to know how to read I guess seeing as I only repeated what I previously said because you said something I didn't. But, no worries.

LMAO. Enough you both. Britney has never had the most number ones but she surely had the most memorable songs in Pop music history. Anyone could've sworn that Toxic, Oops and Slave were number ones. Britney is on her own league when it comes to singles.

^ what I was trying to say.
Before I got all into these music blogs I thought Brintey had like 198 #1's.
I was like 14 when those songs came out, I had no clue they flopped, I luved all of them.
