The Wire NEEDS to be sent and shoved down the radio's throat before they give up on it and move onto another single. It is a smash waiting to happen and is by far their biggest shot at getting a mainstream audience in the U.S.

I'm confident that The Wire will smash in the US. I think it'll take a while and have a slow build, like Pumped Up Kicks and a lot of other songs from the past couple years. M.I.A.'s Paper Planes took like a year to smash. And didn't Royals come out way before it smashed?
If I Could Change Your Mind is the most commercial song on the album besides The Wire and reminds me a lot of Lucky Star or Holiday. Even critics noted the similarities.
