2.5 years is too small to say this study is a fact. This is nothing serious or out of range of any normal random surveying, I could survey 2 random groups of 50 people and get a 2.5 year age difference.
True, but negativity (and negative personality types) have been proven to be bad for your health increasing risk of certain diseases causing earlier death.
Homophobia classifies as negativity in my opinion, thus increasing the chance of earlier death
