For one, the original version of this bill has been around since the 80s or 90s (I'm not sure exactly what he said) so why is this JUST getting recognition? Two, this bill makes it harder for people to exclude others for religious purposes, than the original. The original bill was very vague in comparison to this one, and had too many loop holes for people to jump through and had too much free interpretation which is why the Governor of Arizona herself ordered it to be amended so it can't be interpreted as such. Third, This ISN'T an Anti-Gay Bill (nice try to get that hit thread though). A little knowledge of what's actually going on can go a long way instead of jumping to conclusions based off of one thing. I'm all for a bill (as someone who is bisexual) that it makes it harder to abuse religious beliefs.

excuse me for my ignorance and hit-thread thirst but if the bill allows for discrimination of lgbt, is it not anti-gay? is that not part of the bill at all? did MSNBC and Salt Lake City Tribune lie to me? could you clarify

btw I got the headline from CNN lol. I would've put "Arizona legislature passes bill that would allow business owners to refuse service to gays" but
Quote:
The Arizona Legislature gave final approval Thursday to legislation that allows business owners asserting their religious beliefs to refuse service to gays and others
