Miley Cyrus



I've looked at some threads, and this is just basically a conversation starter. I will post a different artist every day, doesn't mean I'm a fan. I will choose one random artist that is being heavily publicised in the newspapers. Miley is currently on the news for that Vanity Fair snap. Basically I think there was nothing wrong with the picture. I would say it was artsy too, but these uptight mothers think she's a bad influence on their children. It's stupid I'd say and I don't see why Miley Cyrus shouldn't stick up for herself in this. What do you personally think on Miley's career? Is she payed too much for just a child star? Just right back, don't be a bitch about this. If you think this should be in The Lounge, just say.

Funny pic. I don't like the "topless" pic she did. (I know she really wasn't topless but that's what it looks like) I just don't think it was an appropriate photo shoot for her to do at 15 years old.

As for the money she earns...if she has the popularity and talent to do what she does and if people are willing to pay to see her and everything she deserves every penny she gets. I just hope she's smart about it and is investing her money so she has enough money to last her lifetime.

Well I think she's a great role model no matter what people think about her photo shoot. She hasn't went and done what Britney, Lindsay & Vanessa have done. Girls look up to people like them, and Miley is a great example of someone that a young girl should look up to. She's smart, sensible and isn't doing things that she shouldn't be doing for a minor.

How wasn't she topless? She had no shirt, no bra, no nothing in relation to clothing on her chest area. She did have pants on however. She was topless with a blanket, and a blanket does not count as a "Top".

imho, it was poor judgment in all parties involved, miley, the elder cyruses, Vanity Fair, and the lady who shot the picture. As an artist, she will rise from this, but for those who argue that it was artsy, it looked like she was strung out on something. There were much more "artsy" ways to go with that photo. As an artist, I hope she does well but I think for stars to get big on their own, they need to shed the whole Disney thing, I think it keeps celebs trapped in teenage-dom for too long.
