It's definitely the vocal melody from Goodies with Oh's beat melody slowed down. Too "dead" for me.

@ Normal, the album actually comes out in late August. Jive pushed it up. They may get another single out a couple of weeks before the album drops depending on how well 'high price' does.

They pushed it back again after they pushed it up. They haven't officially released that information though.

I didn't like it. Her voice in it. The beat is decent, but she didn't have to sound like that to be different. I know its hard to be different these days with everyone doing the same, but singing in an annoying voice ain't gonna help either. But hopefully the full track isn't like this.

I'd rather her mix Goodies/Evolution sounds, and then a bunch of new sounds so she can have some variety, but not sound so much like the previous albums, though I hated Evolution, it had a couple of high points.

And Tierra, lets not go to bashing other artists. I mean sure Ciara kills Rihanna when it comes to dancing, writing her own songs, etc., but overall Rihanna has won the popularity vote. Hopefully Ciara brings it cause you Rihanna got like 5 more albums ready to be shipped out. before 2011.

:stupid: She's trying too hard to be different vocally (we all know she can't sing for ****) and the song sounds just like her usual crunk & b which has been played out since 2005. That is why you can't compare Ciara to Aaliyah or Janet.... Aaliyah & Janet knew how to switch it up with each album and give you something new (even if Janet's new stuff are all flops, its musically different from what she did in her prime). Hell I hate Britney but even she knows how to do something different and not always be on that lame bubblegum pop.

^DEAD. Ciara does switch it up every album. The Evolution sounds nothing like Goodies. "High Price" may be a mix of some older stuff she did but it's fresh. The Evolution was very generic and got stale after a while but this is tooo fresh.
