She acknowledged she had been drinking and refused to take a breath-alcohol test, said Morrell, a senior assistant attorney general. Hernandez said she had been in an argument with the group. "She indicated to police that she wanted to scare this group of people. She thought they would get out of the way," Morrell said. Hernandez was ordered held without bail after being arraigned Monday in Nashua District Court. The charges, including aggravated drunken driving, are felonies, so Hernandez could not enter a plea. Her public defender, James Quay, did not immediately return a call seeking comment. Beaudoin died of massive head trauma at a hospital, Morrell said. Moran told The Telegraph of Nashua during the weekend that Beaudoin came to the bar regularly to socialize, sing karaoke and have fun. "He came to hang out. He didn't really drink much," she said. Chris Lovett, a disc jockey at Slade's, told the New Hampshire Union Leader that Beaudoin kept to himself and "wasn't an instigator." Faith Beaudoin said her brother, who lived in Nashua, was a 1997 graduate of Nashua High School who worked dealing poker at Sharky's in Manchester and Nashua. She said his organs, including his heart, live and kidneys, were donated in hopes of saving other people's lives. "He was always helping people when he was alive, and he's still saving lives," she said, choking back tears during the weekend.

This is how they treated one of the greatest players and broadcasters ever, Phil Rizzuto...

On the evening of the funeral of former teammate Mickey Mantle (August 15, 1995 in Dallas, Texas), the Yankees were set to play a road game against the Boston Red Sox. Rizzuto naturally assumed that he would be allowed to miss the game to attend the funeral with former teammates, but was scheduled to call the game. WPIX and/or the Yankees refused to let him go, citing that "someone needed to do the color commentary." Rizzuto eventually gave into emotion and abruptly left the booth in the middle of the telecast saying he could not go on. Rizzuto announced his retirement from announcing soon afterwards, which many attributed to the incident.

Then of course they treated one of the greatest managers of all time like crap. Joe Torre made the Yankees the winning team they once were. If it wasn't for Torre they wouldn't have had the last few WS titles they got. If they wanted to let him go that's fair, then just release him. There was no need to offer him the insulting contract they offered him which basically he would be paid like crap and not offered a second year unless he won the World Series. I hope the Yankees enjoy their time near the bottom of the standings because this new manager they have will never be close to what Torre was. He already was the cause of one of the losses against the Red Sox when he decided to pitch to Manny instead of walking him LOL! No other manager in baseball would have pitched to Manny in that situation.

^ Ummm....that doesn't make the Yankees suck, that makes their ownership suck. There is quite a big difference there. I will make a bet with you that the Yankees are nowhere near the bottom of the standings by the end of the season.
