Discussion: Were you denied from a school you applied to?

I'm a senior in high school
+ I've already applied to five schools and gotten into four of them
I'm still waiting to hear back from one
(Northeastern University in Boston)
but it's a super smart school + my SAT scores were a mess

so I'm scared I won't get in

I don't think i'd be heartbroken if I was denied
but i'm tired of the wait

Yes I have but it wasn't my first choice so it wasn't a big deal.

No. I am a winner of a competition in my country so they have to accept me to whatever high school I want to go.

No, but I only applied to one because I was pretty damn sure I would get in. And it worked, so yay.

The school that's the closest to my hometown accepted me, but then I EFFED up the application and said I was an immigrant even though I was born in the country so it became a game of mailing things back and forth and then the deadline passed.

If I can't even comprehend basic English I don't deserve to go to that school.

I applied to do Medicine here in the UK, and it's crazy competitive

I've been rejected from 2/5, and one of them was my first option

Nope. I got accepted into all 3 I applied for. I didn't even have a good SAT score (1500), and I didn't go to high school for two years

Yup, 3 out of 8. Well one wait listed me, so maybe 2.5 haha. But I still got into my top school so it's all good

I applied to eight schools and was waitlisted at my first choice.

I was accepted everywhere else though, so it ended up being okay.

I actually got into most of the schools I applied to.
I even got into the school of my choice (UC Davis) but I didn't get enough financial aid and my parents didn't want to help me sign up for loans so I'm stuck in a community college.

I think the only schools I got denied admission to were UCSD and USC.

I didn't get denied at any, but I got waitlisted at 2 I applied to out of 6 (which basically seemed like a no to me & I stopped considering them). Looking back, I'm glad I didn't go to those schools though.
