It's relatively unknown to the non-reader audience right now but the books are very succesful and there's no reason why it won't smash. Good story, good cast, good production and it's YA. It has everything to succeed. This is not like Mortal Instruments, it's about humanity more than anything. And it's not campy at all and you will wish it is when you get to the third book I have no idea what they will do with the last movie... This will be interesting 'cause this is not your typical YA ending I'm starting to tear up a bit right now... BYE

I don't think it'll do well. The problem is that, to people who haven't actually read the books, they don't know what the story is actually about. I've seen the trailer about 20 times on TV now and saw the full trailer online and still have no idea what this movie is supposed to be about. I read the book a couple years ago but had to put it down after the first 60 or so pages. I think it's too derivative to be a huge BO success. Whenever a franchise is big, it's nothing like the previous franchise, which is why Twilight was nothing like HP and THG was nothing like Twilight. The next big thing will be nothing like THG, which Divergent fails at.
