Message From Michelle...

Hey everyone.
Today is a very bittersweet day. I am finally finished with my record. (Well, we still have to mix and master but I'm done!)

I'm so excited for everyone to hear it but I am also pretty bummed that I won't be in the studio any longer. It's so nice to just be selfish and play music all day. I guess I'll just have to start touring to fill the void

Speaking of, I have a show this Friday at the big Stagecoach Festival in California. Country music's answer to Coachella-ella-ella (sorry, I have Umbrella in my head) I get to fly back to L.A. tomorrow (I'm in N.Y.C.) and rehearse for the Friday show. My family is coming out which will be really nice. Although I think they are really going to see The Eagles and not me.

I hope to see all you west coasters there.

We haven't heard anything about Michelle Branch since The Wreckers and "Leave The Pieces." I checked out her Myspace the other day and her headline said "NEW ALBUM SUMMER 08" then checked out her website and WOW surprise the album should be out sooner than you think! I love Michelle Branch. Hotel Paper was AMAZING. I'm glad she's back in the game!

I love her new songs. You can tell she was inspired by the country sound she got from The Wreckers

I am so glad she is doing another solo album!! I love her solo stuff better than the Wreckers!!!

I doubt it will be a single, or even on the album, because it was on The Wreckers album as a duet. plus, her solo version is like from the "Hotel Paper" era so i doubt she's going to release a song on an album that she recorded 5 years ago. I happen to like Lay Me Down.

I really hated The Wreckers material

The new album is called "Everything Comes And Goes" .... people from one of her concerts in April said she announced it then.... it's all over the Michelle Branch Message Board I can't remember the song titles of the few new songs but i know one was called "Crazy Ride"

I loved some of her solo singles. Can't wait for her to come back.

My radio station still plays "Everywhere" once in a while. I hope this album is like her pop/rock stuff and not country like The Wreckers.

My local radio station plays her solo songs a lot.... they play "Everywhere", "All You Wanted", "Goodbye To You", "Are You Happy Now?" and "Breathe" constantly... basically all her huge singles.

I also like her The Wreckers phase, if you listen to the album, I find it good that MB's pop rock vibe was able to blend with country, i love the results
