Lorde Talks Potential Collaboration With Taylor Swift

While there's no doubt Taylor Swift and Lorde have become fast friends as of late, we can't help but wonder whether the BFFs will ever make sweet music together.
And despite their drastically different musical styles, the 17-year-old singing sensation recently chatted with Capital FM radio, where she dished on a potential duet, admitting Swift's adaptive nature opens the door for a potential collaboration.
An anti-pop star who's skyrocketed to fame and an adorable country crooner? We can't think of a more perfect combination.
"Yeah we are [different]," Lorde said. "But I think the cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music."
"I think that last record [Red] in particular, everyone was like 'Woah', a lot of ground has been covered," she added. "And I think with an artist like her, the sky is the limit."
Sounds pretty promising!
The pair most recently spent time together at the 2014 Grammy Awards, where Swift congratulated her bestie on her big wins after she nabbed the honors for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year for her smash hit "Royals."
"And you know... We're on each other's team. #LORDE #CLEANINGUP #GRAMMYS," the 24-year-old songbird wrote, making a clever pun on Lorde's single "Team," before the New Zealand beauty reciprocated the love.
Omg I bet I'd love any collabs they do in the future as much as I loved "Royals"

That's not quite what she said, is it? She basically said that Taylor's sets an unrealistic standard for beauty for other teenage girls, iirc. They're actually friends, Taylor actually acknowledged Lorde's existence once in an interview and referred to her "that girl Lorde." Such a good friend.
that doesn't make her better? that just means it's not her style. but again, singing about love doesn't make you a bad artist. there are so many other reasons why Taylor Swift is a mediocre artist.
Not here. All Taylor sings about is Love and boys. Lorde sings about tha Mafia and her former Gangster days.
The majority of Taylor's discography is love but she has other songs (The Lucky One, The Best Day, Mean, Fifteen, Innocent, The Outside, Tied Together With A Smile, etc.) that deal with other subjects other than love.
Lorde is still not even close to Taylor´s level but i am sure Lord has been a good mentor.
