WHY is this song not selling?

Here's an opinion from outside the Lambily
Two important reasons why she's flopping
1. The miming (The BET awards) when she mimes she can't really connect with the audience and it does her career more bad than good
2. In her videos the only thing she cares about is how she looks, if she's filmed from her 'good side' and so on, it's very obvious and it stops her from making decent videos, she keeps trying to be sexy, but people don't really want that from her

From the start it was obvious this is not a single material. It's a nice album track and maybe the last single of the era and that's it. The song is too cheesy and immature for me to connect with it or to like it, and boring.

I agree with sophomore. her BET performance is completely blatantly lipped, it will backfire to her just like beautiful lipping did. Her videou are all abou showing that her body is good.

I've never seen someone so delibertely trying to diminish his/her legacy like mariah is doing. She really needs some reality check and stop making a fool of herself.

True. Her last hits were "Touch My Body" & "Obsessed" which both videos had her focusing on being funny...

I think it's a great song. But yes, she needs to change, evolve.

Sad that this is doing so terrible. It will take away all her artistry and we will get songs that don't define Mariah Carey at all like the terrible Beautiful.

You're mine is a true, signature Mariah song. I hope she stays true to her self and does not postpone the album again. Just release it cause if You're mine is an indication of the sound than it's already a great album.
