^LOL that has been discussed ad nauseum. Preferably a Velvet Rope. I'm still crossing my fingers but it probably won't happen unless she gets depressed again. I don't think I'd say this about any other musician, but I hope Jermaine leaves her or her dad dies or something so she can get depressed and find her artistic genius.

I actually don't think the idea of a Dance/Pop album would be a bad idea for her. ...BUT since "Rock With U" is failing to be a hit or even chart, then that may not work either.

Well, considering she's done absolutely zero promotion for it (the video seems to have been taken off TV and polls online), it still has potential. It just needs to get out there. The video has a decent amount of views on YouTube even without promotion. It's a super hot song with a video to match. I personally believe that "LUV" could be the breakout single if they do some real summer promo for it, with a "Together Again" meets "Someone to Call My Lover" type vid. It's an awesome track, and very radio-friendly.

You're right about the no promotion.

"LUV" is my favorite track off of Discipline.

not sure i f this stuff was posted on here or not but here's a little update

*another tour date did leake a while ago it was on oct 1st for Boston, and that was listed under ticketmaster, but it's not there no more, I am assuming they are in the process of booking venues still, I so we should get some kind of announcement I am by hoping either mid may or early June.


*Janet to perform at concert in California for U.S. military

Janet will be performing at a free concert in California for U.S. military personnel, according to the Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Miramar website.

The flyer for the concert, which is titled "America: United in Support of Our Troops," states that the event will be held on Thursday, May 8 at 7:00 PM at Del Mar Beach and is exclusive to military personnel only. The flyer warns that IDs will be checked in order to gain access to the concert.

Other performers at the concert will include Clint Black, Snoop Dogg, Pussycat Dolls, Blind Melon, Jordin Sparkz, ZZ Top, and Ne-Yo.

Interesting. I love this song, it's her best song vocally off the album, and reminds me of a modern "That's the Way Love Goes" but with less jazz, more slow jam.

I'm thinking it could have a beautiful video, were she ever to make one.

I like this song too, but I have a feeling that it will flop sadly.

Red Rat is Remixing Her Next Single

For the past six months, the colourful deejay, known for his comical flair, has been putting the finishing touches to a single on which he collaborated with American diva, Janet Jackson.

"Actually, I just finished doing a song with Janet Jackson which will be my next single," Red Rat disclosed when Splash caught up with him in Fort Lauderdale recently.
"The song with Janet Jackson is called This Can't Be Good. It suppose to be the second single of her album, so wi a cross wi fingers and wi toes yuh nuh," the ever exciting and positive-thinking Red Rat said.

I'm very excited to see how the remix turns out. Hopefully they really DO something with it--video, promotion, etc--if it's good.

I think that Janet has given up on this era. I have not even heard her mention the tour anymore.
