If you were on ATRL yesterday, you know good and well that ATRL was a MESS after the "Katy's Revenge" thread and a full on stan war broke out with the LMs trolling the Kats over the (stupid) female MJ title and the Kats almost getting the LM base shut down...

So to all the Stans out there, What makes you dislike a certain stan base?
I hope this won't get messy, but sometimes ya'll just be like...

Because that certain stan base acts like the victim in the HQ thread with posts such as

I don't like the Hive just because the majority of them attack you JUST for saying anything that doesn't agree with their 'Beyonce is God' views...

Obviously most stanbases view their faves as that, but it gets way too much with them!

I don't like the Navy because they let 13 #1's and an irrelevant icon award get to their head.

I don't like Kats because it's impossible to have a rational conversation with them

I don't like the other Navy because they seem to always want to compare Rih with Bey when they should be comfortable with who she is. Oh well, my fellow navy will learn I guess

I hate Little Monsters. Even though i'm one of them.
Most of them are just childish and annoying.

I also dislike the Hive, because of what's said a couple of posts above me... They act like Beyonce is god, and if you disagree you're "retarded" or worse.

And i dislike Beliebers. I dislike Bieber himself too, so that makes sense.

Mostly the delusion. All stan bases have it but I find some just live off of it because their faves give them nothing to work with.

It's easy to stan for artists like Beyonce and Gaga, or Rihanna and Katy, who all excel in certain fields. Bey and Gaga are great live performers and touring beasts, while Riri and Katy's single releases are almost always guaranteed smashes and they do incredibly well on radio (and therefor the GP). It's when some of these stans start reaching beyond the strengths of their fave does it get silly.

A Katy/Rih stan claiming their faves are better live performers than Bey/Gaga needs to be clocked and quarantined before the plague of foolishness spreads any further. The same goes for Bey/Gaga stans who want to claim that their faves have had any success with singles since 2010 (this is less common because Bey/Gaga tend to be better at selling albums, which counts for more anyway).

Navy. Sure Rih's had a tonne of number one singles but it's solely down to her connections in the industry/radio etc who can get her these bops. She actually has very little talent and is a pretty poor performer.

The definition of stanning for (single) success.

I used to hate Monsters, but ever since iPOP's underperformance I've grown to love them, they are one of the very few stanbases to actually poke fun at their fave while making sure it is known that no one is better. Most of us know what we're saying is completely delusional, but there's some truth to what we say and we're able to take things with a grain of salt. Some other stanbases act like their fave actually has no flaws and their delusions are sad and pathetic (this includes some monsters too). Without monsters atrl would be pretty boring.
