What the 3rd party developers don't want to admit is that they don't want to compete against Nintendo games.They know that if they release games on Nintendo consoles their games will be overlooked. They have a point though 3rd party sales on the Wii U have been horrible except for the family friendly titles ala Disney Infinity, Skylanders, etc.
At the same time the developers are to blame too, they half ass their games and remove features available to all other platforms ex. Batman Origins, Injustice. They delay their games claiming some stupid reason ex. Rayman, Watch Dogs. Then they have the nerve to blame the Nintendo fans for not supporting their **** attempts at stealing our money. Nintendo fans don't even care about third party support anymore because it's clear we're not getting anything noteworthy from any of these developers and even if we do it's going to be some half assed product. It's annoying when developers like Ubisoft who've had massive success with the Wii era (Just Dance, Raving Rabbids) can't even support Nintendo's latest effort.
Not entirely shocking. The amount of work they'd have to put into a flop console just for the tablet functionality wouldn't pay off. The poor Wii U, it's actually an alright system, it just needed a better launch
