I'm not so sure about that. I think it's always been about her Persona rather than her Music. She's all about the Perfect Girl Who Can Do No Wrong. That would be shattered if we actually knew more about her personal life. Look at it any way you want it but Beyonce needs her life to stay private if she wants to keep her status with the GP. So, in my opinion and rationally speaking, it's not about her music at all. It's about
marketing. Would you keep buying a product if you started to discover it is not manufactured the way you thought it was? Would you still consume it if you find out how processed it really is? I think this is the case with Beyonce. There's a BIG reason she's private, and it's not her music or her talent.
Other pop girls may be more messy/entertaining from a distance, but she's one of the few (along with Adele and maybe Katy) who seems like someone I'd want to be friends with IRL.
